Tulips from Hole Park

Here in the UK, we are in autumn now, it won’t be long before winter hits us. We’ve had some mild winters lately. I think the last proper snowfall we had was in 2018. I love new fresh snow… but after a few days, it gets dirty and mucky and you can’t wait to see that back of it.

And then winter morphs into spring… and the spring flowers start to appear. One of flowers that is loves to photograph is tulips.

A photography of vibrant tulips photographed at Hole Park in Kent.

    1. Trouble is now the energy prices here have gone crazy… I do feel for those that are having to decide whether to heat or eat.

      1. That’s the same thing as here, Bren. Fuel prices rocketed up after the pandemic settled down as did the price of food across the board. My monthly electric cost hasn’t gone up though.

        1. It’s crazy here … You are lucky if something stays the same price two weeks in a row.

          1. Our gas, or petrol, changes from say $4.75 to $5.60 per gallon overnight! That’s so damn stupid. And, can anyone give me a straight answer why? No.

          2. We have a garage near us that is nearly £10 a gallon.

          3. That’s totally ridiculous! And, can anyone give you a solid reason why? Nope.

          5. We blame Biden the idiot so-called president who in my view, should be in a retirement home. And Covid and this and that. It is always someone else’s fault these days. People can be so ridiculous…

    1. I love cosiness of a fire and snow in winter but long for spring to get here so all the gardens start opening back up.

  5. A beautiful reminder of how lovely the spring flowers will be, once we get through the winter. That’s not my favourite season, I’m hoping for another mild one!

        1. I know .. that’s the trouble … After a few hours it gets compacted and dirty.. And it brings the country to a halt 🤣🤣🤣
