Flower of the Day – 19th March 2019

Yellow flower

On Sunday we decided to take a trip down to Whitstable… however, on our way down the M2 it flashed up Junctions 5 -6 were closed to traffic. So we headed down the A2 through Rainham, Newington and then we stood in traffic at Sittingbourne. What should’ve been a 40-minute run now turned into an hour and we were still nowhere near Whitstable.

So the only thing to do was a U-turn and go back home. Anyway, on our way back home, we called into Dobbie’s Garden Centre at Gillingham, where I photographed using my mobile phone a few flowers from the garden centre. This daisy-like flower is just one of those flowers and is being entered into Cee’s Flower of the Day Photography Challenge.
