Powder Paint Dahlia

Six months into our photography jaunt, we discovered a place called Nymans, which is owned and maintained by the National Trust. Within the grounds, there are formal flower gardens, the ruins of buildings destroyed by fire, and the main house.

A photograph of a dahlia photographed at Nymans in West Sussex

It was while walking around these beautiful gardens and admiring the summer flowers that I spotted this beautiful orange pom-pom dahlia which I thought would be great for Cee’s Flower of the Day and Becky’s Walking Squares Photo Challenges. Which stood there tall and proud, and I just had to take its photo.

Have a great day everyone!
