One Word Sunday – Closed Petals

A photograph of one of the many flowers with closed up petals, photographed at The Salutation in Sandwich Kent.

Camera: Canon EOS 600D
Lens: Canon EF-S18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM
F/Number: f/7.1
ISO: 100

Focal Distance: 114 mm
Shutter Speed: 1/125 sec
Software: Adobe Lightroom Classic
Photographer: Bren Ryan

I thought this image would be ideal for Debbie Smyth’s One Word Sunday Photography Challenge called Closed, as some of those petals are still closed and waiting for the right time to fully bloom.

  1. like a beautiful Autumn flame on one of the darker evenings we’re having now – lovely. I didn’t know the Salutation Garden was still open?

      1. Yes, I had feared that was the case. I hope the wonderful garden and hotel have a secure future, in the near future.
