Tulips from Broadview
Tulips are so wonderous and have such beauty. Whether they stand tall or bow their heads. And what I love about the tulips I photographed the other day, is the deep maroon colour and how it turns to pastel pink at the top of the petals.

These tulips were spotted at Broadview, a quaint garden tucked away in Hadlow College. Different varieties of these tulips in different shades of colour greeted me as soon as I stepped foot in the garden. It was truly a sight to behold.
As he weaved my way through the rows of tulips, in that God damn awful wheelchair, my eyes kept coming back to the maroon ones. There was something so captivating about them. It was as if they were calling out to me, begging me to capture their beauty on camera.
And so I did. I got as low as I could in the wheelchair, adjusted my lens and carefully composed my shot. The sun had was shining, casting a warm glow on everything in its path. The perfect lighting for the perfect shot.
I could sit here and try to describe the beauty of these tulips all day, but I know that no amount of words can do them justice. So instead, I urge you to visit Broadview to see them for yourself. It’s a magical experience that you won’t soon forget.
And who knows, perhaps you’ll discover a new favourite flower, just like I did with these maroon tulips.
Join me again tomorrow for another Flower of the Day Photograph.
