Blossom

Yesterday, we decided to go back to a place we love.. Broadview Gardens within Hadlow College. Unfortunately, the garden centre was closed down, as we planned to have a coffee and snack in the Garden Centre Tea Rooms.

When we got to the Japanese Garden, this beautiful tree was full of blossom. In the breeze you could see the blossom falling from the tree, like snowflakes.

It was such a mesmerizing sight, we couldn’t help but stop and take a moment to appreciate it. The delicate pink and white petals against the blue sky was simply breathtaking. It’s amazing how something as simple as a tree in bloom can evoke such emotions within us. It was as if every petal held a memory, a promise of new beginnings and a reminder that life is ever-changing.

As we stood there, we couldn’t help but feel grateful for the little things in life that bring us so much joy. There’s something about nature’s ability to renew and rejuvenate that always puts things into perspective. It’s a reminder that no matter how tough life gets, there’s always beauty to be found in the world around us.

In that moment, we made a promise to ourselves to find more moments like this. To take the time to appreciate the simple things and to find joy in the everyday. Sometimes, it’s the small things that make the biggest impact on our lives.

As we walked away from the blossoming tree, we felt refreshed and recharged. We couldn’t wait to see what other gems we would discover on our little adventure. That’s the beauty of life, there’s always something new to discover and appreciate.

Until my next flower of the day.. have a great day everyone xx

  3. So beautiful the blossoms you photographed. Seeing the whole tree in bloom, is a delight to the eyes. Where I live it has been snowing and is still winter. Hopefully the snow will melt in about 3 weeks, but in the meantime it is more snow!

    1. Thank you… I love when it snows.. the look of untrodden snow is a sheer delight as it glistens. We don’t get much snow here in the South East, not like we did in the 70’s and 80’s and I miss it.

      1. Around the Far North we get winter and snow for about 9 months and much snow. Love the snow but am ready for it to melt and summer to come!

        1. I bet you can’t wait for summer to arrive. 9 months is a long time for snow and as you say a lot of snow.
