Flower of the Day – 17th April 2023

Today, we took a trip to Broadview Gardens, in Hadlow, Kent. In fact, we were planning to have a look around the garden centre as well and have a nice cuppa, but unfortunately it is now closed down. The first flower I came across as I was being pushed in that God damn awful wheelchair, was this beautiful daffodil.

It was vibrant and had perfect light. So, there was minimal work done in Lightroom… a boast of colour, and background blur and that was it.

Within inches of the first image, stood this beautiful macro image. Daffodils are wonderful flowers, with their beautiful yellow petals… and they to me, represent the start of Spring.
