Whilst visiting Bateman House, in East Sussex, there are water features which host the most beautiful water lilies, I’ve ever seen.

Graceful, white petals peaked amongst their green pads, each with a vivid yellow eye at their centre. Submerged in their basin of cool, still water, their colours seem to enhance the surrounding sounds of nature.
Taking a few moments to capture this tranquillity of beauty has allowed for me to appreciate the beauty of the everyday. Life is made up of little moments and I’m thankful that I’ve been able to cherish this one.
