In the Garden #13- Dahlia

Sorry I’ve not posted much on this challenge… but the last 4 months have just gone from one thing to another. First that nasty virus, and then the loss of my mother-in-law. And if that wasn’t to hit our family, one of my friends, fell badly and was put on a machine, which was turned off once they scanned her brain again and said she had such a bad bleed from the brain, they couldn’t do anything to save her.

Hopefully, things will settle down back and no more bad news.

  6. I didn’t realise you’ve had a double blow. Your lovely photo seems a fitting tribute to both.

    1. It was so sudden with my friend… it was a total shock… even now I can’t believe she has gone… the ladies at lunch will never be the same ever again. Nic bought us so much joy and laughter. xx I was just coming to terms that my MIL had passed away and then I get another call from a friend telling me Nic had passed away…๐Ÿ˜ข๐Ÿ’”๐Ÿ’”

      1. When someone goes unexpectedly, and before their time, it’s even harder to deal with. I hope your group of friends can support each other xx

        1. Yep we are, I think that is the shock that she collapsed upstairs, went straight onto a ventilator in hospital and the ventilator was switched off next day after the scans.
