Flower of the Day – 17th January 2023

Oh Boy!! Was it cold today on the station run! It was -5°C when I got into the car and left and stayed that exact temperature all the way there and back. I don’t mind frosty mornings but -5°C is beyond a joke…

To me that is stay in bed weather until the temperature gets in the + region.

As I drove home from the station, all I kept thinking was about roll on spring/summer.

So again, today I am going to post a tulip, which represents the onset of spring and warmer temperatures.

A tulip photographed at Hole Park in Rolvenden, Kent.

  1. How lovely, and another great reminder that spring isn’t too far away (although it seems it in today’s cold weather!)

  2. Now isn’t that gorgeous? We’ll have to stick with snowdrops for a while though, I think.
