Flower of the Day – 11th January 2023

Eleven days in and it still feels strange typing 2023… I don’t know about you but the number of times I’ve had to had to correct dates so far this month, is astounding.

It’s just like when you get married and change your name… that takes a fair bit of time to be able to do it without having to think.

I am not sure of the name of these flowers, or whether or not they are even bluebells, as this photograph was taken on the last day of July 2022, and I thought it would be ideal for Cee’s Flower of the Day Photography Challenge.

A photograph of purple flowers photographed at Great Comp Gardens near Sevenoaks in Kent.

Until next time have a great day everyone!

  1. They do look bluebell-ish, but July is far too late. Were there carpets of them, or just isolated blooms?

    1. They do look like bluebells as you say, they were in one largish cluster. As you say July is too late for them to be bluebells.
