Camellia from Doddington

One of our favourite places to visit on Easter Weekend is Doddington Place near Sittingbourne, Kent. Apart from spectacular gardens, folly, and landscape, they hold an Easter Egg Hunt. One year they even had an event for the adults, where you had to solve riddles. Oh boy, were they tough…:D 😀 😀

On our visit in 2019, within the woodland area of the gardens, as we toured the estate, I spotted this beautiful Camellia.

A photograph of a camellia photographed at Doddington Place, near Sittingbourne Kent.

Even though the air had a nip in it, the sun glistened through the woodland area and highlight the petals of the flower. We so enjoyed our walk around the gardens, that I thought this camellia would be ideal for Cee’s Flower of the Day Photography Challenge and Becky’s Walking Squares Photography Challenge.

    1. Thank you xx.. mind you were we terrible at the riddles … It seems all the adults were struggling 🤣🤣. And there was no phone signal either. 🤣🤣
