Swan and Cygnet

I am a great fan of photo challenges, as you may have gathered. Now what is it I love about them?

  • Photo challenges, gives you the opportunity to interact with fellow bloggers, which I love.
  • Photo Challenges gives you inspiration with regards to which images are needed to post for that particular subject.
  • Photo challenges inspire you to post more.

And above all…

  • They improve your photography skills and give you chance to experiment with images.

For instance, every week Jez Braithwaite holds a Water Water Everywhere Photography Challenge every Monday. As long as your image has water in it, you can join in. Whether that water is a river, puddle, lake, waterfall or raindrops, it really doesn’t matter what the subject is… just as long as there is water.

With the above image… I have a preset called experimental dreams. And for the swans and cygnet I used this preset, played around with the masks and then basic edits, added a vignette and a little bit of sharpening. Have a great day!
