I was just sitting here today thinking about the seasons, and then realised that in about 3-4 months times we will be in spring. Once Christmas has been and gone, we will be counting the days down to spring. And one of the flowers that I do love in spring is primroses.

They remind me once again of my childhood, my dad would plant these out for spring in our garden, and he would get me to help him plant one for my nan in a pot so she could have some colour in her life, as she was bed-ridden with rheumatoid arthritis.
The image above was taken just weeks into our photography jaunt when we didn’t have a clue and never came off of automatic on our cameras. 😀 😀 😀
I just love how an image of a flower can bring back so many memories, memories that are from way-back. And that photograph of primroses sure bought a childhood memory back to me.
