Well, last week was just one of those weeks. It started by taking in next door’s parcel. No problems taking it in, but when it came to handing it over that was another story. I got locked in the downstairs cloakroom.
You see we have one of those spring-loaded closers for the door, cos my lot seem to never shut the door properly. Grrr. There I was trying to open the door and all I could just hear was the sound of wood cracking. You guessed it, the architrave where the spring-loaded door closer is screwed too, somehow pulled the architrave off. Luckily my son was here, and he managed to hand over the parcel 😀 😀 😀
He then pushed the door and the architrave fell on me, but I was free 😀 😀 😀
You see I have this nickname…. ‘Calamity’.
When I looked at the bottom of the architrave it was wet. The shower seal had gone. So, Saturday a trip to B&Q to get some sealant and new trim so he could reseal the shower. And he spent the rest of Saturday removing the old sealant.
Sunday morning, he went to seal the shower and guess what? We had picked up Translucent instead of White. So again, a trip to B&Q to change it for white. With all this going on… I haven’t had time to think of photos 😀 😀 😀
Today… I’ve still got missing bits from the bathroom, and it won’t get finished until next weekend.
I am now back on doing images… until I break something else… So, I thought I would process this beautiful Hibiscus photographed at the Conservatory of Flowers in San Francisco.

Here’s hoping for an uneventful week… somehow, I don’t think that will be happening… 😀 😀 😀 I’m sure old ‘Calamity’ will be causing more damage before the week is finished. 😀 😀 😀
