Battle Abbey Walk

Just as spring started in 2016, we took a trip to East Sussex on a sunny day to have a walk around Battle Abbey. Unfortunately, my right hip had just started to get painful and driving was definitely a no-no. … so it was a little walk for me… and a lot of sit-downs. 😀 😀

As you walk around the grounds you come to this path, that gives you views over the battlefield of the Battle of Hastings in 1066. And what I loved about that area… there were benches to sit on.
