On the Road

Just as we were arriving at Fountains Abbey and heading for the car-park, just across the road from Fountains Abbey stood these beautiful cottages. It was just picture perfect.

I just couldn’t help myself… I had to trot up the road and take this village setting. The beauty was breath-taking.

And for one of Cee’s Photo Challenges, I turned the image into black and white. I just added some dodging and burning to create to light into the image.

If you are ever in North Yorkshire, give Fountains Abbey a visit. I guarantee you won’t be disappointed.
