Just up the A2 from where we live, heading towards London, is a place called Eltham, which has an estate managed by The English Heritage called Eltham Palace and Gardens. I can’t remember the last time we visited, however on one of our trips, standing on the back I managed to capture this photograph of the wooden bridge and the palace.
Eltham palace sits on a moat, with two sides landscaped and planted whilst the other two sides are like a traditional moat full of water.
In fact, to get to the Palace you have to walk over a stone bridge spanning the water.
The following photograph is of one of the landscaped sides with a wooden bridge.
