Today is the release date of the new ON1 Photo RAW 2023 Software. And so far, I’ve tried this out on three different images and I am loving the results so far. With plenty of presets, and the option to create your own, On1 Photo RAW 2023 is both a cataloguing and edit software program.

ON1 says about their new editing program.

Each of the new features and technologies in ON1 Photo RAW 2023 will take away the steep learning-curve that come with more traditional ways of editing. Photographers no longer have to deal with the tedious methods of masking, layering, brushing, or adjusting when working on specific areas of their photos. The most incredible new editing tool is Super Select AI. It will change your approach to how you edit photos.

And I have to say, I am loving it. My test today was to see if it was just as easy to add a sky replacement to an image as it is in Photoshop. And I have to say, YES. In fact, I would say it is easier. It comes with a variety of skies to use and you can even add your own.

But the thing I do love about ON1’s Sky Replacement, which makes it stand above Photoshop, it comes with a reflection setting that you can toggle on or off.

Once I found the Sky, I wanted to use… in just a few clicks it my sky was changed and the reflection added.

There are a lot of whole new features, especially the Super Select AI feature, which allows you to point, click and edit.

I have to say, so far, I am very impressed with this new software package from ON1. I am still on the learning curve, but I have to say, what I am trying I am loving.

As I love the cataloguing workflow of Lightroom Classic, I will still start my image processing in Lightroom and will edit my photos primarily in Lightroom, but for the finishing touches I will definitely be using the ON1 RAW 2023 Plugin for Lightroom, to enhance my images a little further. As I am loving the Super Select AI feature.
