A couple of weeks ago we went to Sheffield Park Gardens, hoping to see the autumn colours, but unfortunately the trees were only just turning to autumn colours. Fall seemed to be late this year.
Because of popularity of the Sheffield Park Gardens, we booked our tickets.
Anyway, when we got up this morning, he decided to take the dog with us as dogs on short leads are welcome.

The sky was blue and the reflection of the autumn colours, made our trip just perfect. But it was a whole lot busier this weekend. And Stew-Boy enjoyed all the petting he got and making new friends. And he loved the view of the lake…. mind you we had to be careful in case he did a swim.

As we strolled through the woods, he sat like a good boy of sorts 😀 😀 and had his photograph taken with his poppa

But those strokes and petting stopped to his amazement. Well, who would want to stroke a dog that had missed his footing and ended up in the swamp part of the lake.

He was filthy, so it was home and a bath for him. 😀 😀 😀
