In the Garden #5- Viola

Viola

A photograph of light mauve viola photographed in my garden.

Camera: Canon EOS 70D
Lens: Canon EF-S60mm f/2.8 Macro USM
F/Number: f/4.5
ISO: 100

Focal Distance: 60 mm
Shutter Speed: 1/1250 sec
Software: Adobe Lightroom Classic
Photographer: Bren Ryan

Late last winter, we planted up a strawberry tub full of violas. I am quite amazed that throughout the heatwave they have not wilted and died. Anyway, the above photo was heading for the rubbish bin.

Then I clicked on a Preset I have and grew to like what the Preset did to the viola. The flower behind the viola behind started to appear to look like a moon in the background. Sometimes, it is worth processing an image that is destined for the bin, just to see if you can create something with it.
