Back in 2015, we took a 15-day holiday to the West Coast of the USA. During our visit we had a 3-day stop in Las Vegas. Anyway, as it was a once in a lifetime trip, we decided to have a Champagne and Nibbles trip to the Grand Canyon, via helicopter.

I couldn’t believe the number of helicopters flying in and out of the Grand Canyon. It was truly a great experience. One I would love to do again.

I don’t think it’s possible to get a photo of the canyon and show the actual size and scale.

    Until a Thunder storm hits. Depending on where you hike a big storm means hunker down…and big hail really hurts 😳.

      It was hilarious when we went to the South Rim… All we had was summer clothes and sandals and one jumper between us… And the day we went we watched a wild West shore in the snow 🤣🤣🤣. I can well imagine bad weather there.

I once took a flight in a small plane over the canyon. Unfortunately, you’ll have to believe me as I’ve lost those photos. I have no proof. 🙂

  It is breathtaking. In that ride we also flew over the Hoover dam. Such a shame you lost the images.
