Roaming free around Whipsnade Zoo grounds are Maras… they are like a cross between a hare/rabbit deer. You can see them everywhere even in the animal closures.

  2. Interesting Bren, had never heard of such an animal. Is it also somewhere in the middle of the two species in terms of size? Well captured!

    1. I worked say there size of a medium dog.. head to tail they are about 27-30 inch and weigh about 8-16kg
