    1. It is set into the cliffs… it started out as a railway tunnel and then the expanded for use in the second to be used as air raid shelters.

        1. When we went… they had some of the tunnels with wax models in them just like it was during WWII. I didn’t know it was there until I was googling places to visit in Thanet. It was quite a find.
