Camera Settings

Charity shops are the ideal place to find bits and pieces for Still Life Photography.. this cup and saucer was £2. In fact it was cheaper than the heart shaped candles. 😀 😀 Add a few flowers and you have a great subject for photography.

Lightroom Processing

• Profile Used – Adobe Portrait.
• Basic Panel:
  • Temp – 5150
  • Exposure – +11
  • Contrast – +81
  • Highlights – -47
  • Shadows – +37
  • Whites – +10
  • Blacks – +13
  • Clarity: -60
  • Vibrance: -23
  • Saturation: +2
• Gradient Filters x 3 set at -1.29 and different widths, just to darken the edges.

For this image that is all the processing I carried out. I just love how the candle light shone on the bone china cup.

On another topic completely different.. I have another train image for you showing the lights of London. However, due to a moving train and a mobile phone being used, there was a lot of noise. So I put the image through Topaz Impression 2 and gave it a paint effect.
