Still Life – Flowers, Pinecones and Candle


Peonies and Pine Cones

It seems ages since I’ve played around with some still life images…  So for today’s image, I used a wooden box with artificial peonies in it as well as red pine-cones and a candle.

The above image was photographed within a large wooden crate.

Using a black background and just my oak tabletop, I then photographed just the peonies in the box.

And below is a monochrome version of the above image.
