One Word Sunday – Plastic

Book and flowers

Plastic is everywhere!! For my still life photography, I use a lot of artificial flowers and without thinking about it, I didn’t realise how much plastic was used in an artificial flower.  Especially the stem part.

  1. I never thought about that. I used to create artificial flower arrangements. But they last for years while fresh flowers die within a week or so. I wonder which is actually worse? Fresh flowers probably require toxic fertilisers and sprays, plus air miles.

    1. Yes… Fresh flowers die too quick… As you say… Fertilisers and sprays -v- plastics..which is worse.
