Friendly Friday Drama

On the River at York
A photograph of the River Ouse at York photographed from one of the many river cruises.

One of the ways to create drama in an image is by clouds. The above photograph was taken in York whilst we were on one of the river cruises. It was an overcast day and the sky was bland. So by Luminar’s 4 Sky Replacement, I created more drama to the sky. Also by adding some radial filters and graduated filters in Lightroom I added more colour and drama to the buildings.

‘Ouse’ is a strange yet pleasing name for a river.
