One of the ways to create drama in an image is by clouds. The above photograph was taken in York whilst we were on one of the river cruises. It was an overcast day and the sky was bland. So by Luminar’s 4 Sky Replacement, I created more drama to the sky. Also by adding some radial filters and graduated filters in Lightroom I added more colour and drama to the buildings.

Thank you, Bran & Ashley, lovely dramatic sky. Just can you please link to Snow Melts Somewhere who has been gathering dramatic posts for this week’s Friendly Friday challenge rather than me? This is her post:

It’s a lovely image and the editing is so well done. I love dramatic clouds! (In photos, not in real life! 😂)

‘Ouse’ is a strange yet pleasing name for a river.
