The theme this week set by Weekly Prompts for their Photo Challenge is called Peaceful. For my first image, I am using a photo we took whilst holidaying the beautiful surrounds of Glencoe.
I couldn’t believe how peaceful it was. Even travelling around the Highlands was beautiful. Yes, we came across other vehicles but not like here in the South East of England. Sometimes we could drive a few miles into the beautiful highlands before we even saw another vehicle. Here in the South East of England.. you head out of your home and you are in traffic. But Scotland was so peaceful and tranquil.
Another image that gave me total peacefulness was an image photographed at Scotney Castle in Kent.
On this particular day in August, we visited mid-week and arrived for opening time. There was hardly a visitor there at all.. so we headed down to the Old Scotney Castle were we photographed the old castle. Walking around the mote of the castle was peaceful and so relaxing. All you could hear apart from the click of our cameras was the breeze whistling through the trees and the birds singing their morning song.
