Photo for the Week – 31 – Portrait

Last week’s challenge was Landscape, and we sure had some lovely entries, check them out, by clicking on the links in the Last Week’s entries section.  As landscape was last weeks, this week has to be portrait.  Portrait can mean, a photograph of a person or the orientation of the image.

Now we don’t do portrait photography so this challenge has put me right out of our comfort zone.  Which is good in a way.  Because it is a subject that I steer well clear of but this challenge has forced my hand, to process some portrait images.

My first is of my first born grandchild… photographed as we strolled around Winter Wonderland when he was a year old.

Harley at Winter Wonderland 2013

There he was as snug as a bug all wrapped up and staring at the lights that were on in the food tent.

All Grown Up

Roll on a few years, and here he is .. dressed at Batman.. So over to you to showcase your portrait images.  Enjoy!

Many thanks for all those that entered.

    1. Thank you. Portrait photography is way out of my comfort zone too. I do admire photographers who manage to do baby shots and pets.
