Flower of the day – 24th September 2018

Dahlia of Chartwell
A photograph of a dahlia from the gardens of Chartwell in Kent.

This photograph was taken in the gardens of Chartwell in Kent, the home of the late Sir Winston Churchill.  And what I love about this Dahlia is the vibrancy of its orange petals.  And I thought it would be a great image for Cee’s Flower of the Day Photography Challenge. Don’t forget today is the start of a new challenge in Photo For The Week and it’s all out Streets.  It could be your High Street, the street you live on, city street… or a place you’ve visited.  Just come along and join in the challenge.  I look forward to seeing your images.

Your image can be colour or black and white… it really doesn’t matter.

Have a good day everyone!
