A Photo a Week Challenge – Water

Fast Flowing
A photograph of the River Coe in Scotland, as the water was rushing down from the mountains.

Now, this may sound weird but I have a fear of water… but I love to see waterfalls, and rivers cascading over rocks.  The above photo was shot from a little bridge that spanned the River Coe near Glencoe Village.  Again the bridge acted as a stabiliser for my camera as I didn’t have a tripod with me and wanted to create a smooth looking milky water effect.

Waterfall
Waterfall on the main road as you go into Glencoe Village.

The above photo was taken on the main road into Glencoe Village.  Now what I do love about Scotland is that at picturesque locations like the above image, they make pull in places where you can park up and take images.  We have some beautiful places here in the South East of England.. but we don’t have the laybys to pull into so we can take images.  Which is a shame!

I thought these images would be ideal for Nancy Merrill’s A Photo a Week Challenge – Water.
