Firstly my sincere apologies for not posting for the last few weeks… but renovation step number 3 took place and it was the garden makeover. Now our previous garden had bushes, shrubs, grass, decking, arbours, and a fish pond. Well as we are not keen gardeners it grew practically into a jungle. Which of course meant some weekends were taken up by sorting out the fish and then the grass cutting and bush trimming.
Well, that is not what we wanted. So we decided to have a garden makeover. Looking through Facebook, we came across a couple of builders and landscapers and we opted for a firm we found on Facebook called DS Builders. You can also view their website which is under construction.
First of all, it was clearing all the bushes and shrubs etc. the levelling the garden, next step was getting the soil ready for the turf. As that was being laid walls were being built and paving was then started. In the gallery below you can see the progress.

Yes, it has been a long three weeks, and with the heat and trying to keep the dogs indoors and out of mischief I was glad when it wall all over… now today I don’t know what to do with myself… I am no longer the tea-girl, so I thought I’d better get back to blogging.
So for this week, the photo of the week has to be my new Garden…
I’m loving it…
