Thank you to Stacy Fischer for hosting the One Photo Focus… and this month’s image is of the London Eye taken by Robin Kent. London is not far from me… and I just love that walk along by the London Eye… as you look back you can see the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben across the River and Westminster Bridge…
I was on my laptop when processing this photograph… and I added one of my usual presets and because I was using my laptop… the Oil Paint Feature worked in Photoshop… so I added an oil paint effect to the photograph… I toned down the effect slightly on the clouds and water, using an adjustment layer. After that I added some light to the reflections and that was it.. Many thanks to Robin Kent for supplying this image for this month’s challenge…
Hi Bren, your edits are nicely done. It gives such a nice effect and dramatic. 😀

Love, love, love the texture AND the tone you gave Robin’s image, Bren! And especially love the pop of the green of the tower and around the windows – truly adds the perfect touch. Thanks, as always, for sharing your imagination with us!

Thank you Stacy… I really love playing around with these images… and thank you for hosting this monthly challenge.. The London Eye is about 30 miles from me.. and I rarely get to see it… with hubby working in London he just doesn’t feel like doing the commute on his days off 😀 😀 Which is a shame because there are so many places to photograph…
