Lens-Artists Photo Challenge #231 – Favorite Images of 2022

On my this is going to be hard… This week John asks us to post our favourite photos for 2022 for the Lens-Artists photography challenge.

One of the last photographs I shot was at Christmas using my mobile and this cheeky little face has to be amongst my favourites.

One of the places we visited in the summer was Great Comp Gardens near Sevenoaks in Kent. The gardens are immaculate and as you walk around the various areas, you stumble upon some beautiful gems, like statues, benches, landscaping, water features.

Another place we visited was Ham House near Richmond in Surrey. We had never visited this place before and it just a few meters from the River Thames.

Another of our little jaunts took us back to Chartwell in Kent. Chartwell is the former home of the late Sir Winston Churchill, and is full of charm and history, especially during WWII. With many of Churchill’s uniforms on display.

And if of all the images above, I could only pick one… then I have to say it would be the feather. Simply because it bought comfort to a blogger friend of mine who is still grieving over her loss of a loved one.

Until next time, happy snapping!

  4. I love the humor in the Santa ornament, but truly my favorite is that image of the paddle boarder because of that beautiful sky. The staircase in that same gallery is also a stunning image. Thanks for sharing your favorites!

Your photos are all to carefully taken and presented, Bren. I do love the open doors into the garden, but your words regarding the feather brought that to the top. Always a pleasure to see your work showcased.
